Choledochal cyst: intraoperative diagnosis and management

Abstract
Choledochal cysts are common congenital malformations of the bile ducts. A case is presented of a neonatal patient with an abdominal cyst diagnosed during surgery. Its subsequent management and satisfactory response, is also discussed.
